Postdoctoral Associates
NIH funded post-doctoral positions are available for research on the mechanism of bacterial chemotaxis. The structure and dynamics of motor and receptor assemblies are being studied by electron microscopy, spectroscopy and single cell imaging. Individuals with an interest in structural biology and / or biophysical chemistry are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a research background in prokaryotic molecular biology and / or structural biology of macromolecular assemblies. Computational expertise would be an asset. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Research Assistant
Responsibilities entail execution of microscope assays of the motile behavior of E. coli and maintenance of mutant strains and plasmid stocks. Candidates should have a B.S or higher degree.
